Who are Bakkavor: We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an Operational Excellence Manager at our Abbeydale Meals site. In London, Bakkavor Meals employs over 2,400 people across three sites and a distribution centre in the Park Royal area. These sites specialise in making chilled ready meals, houmous dips, deli products and savoury accompaniments, and are part of Bakkavor’s Meals sector which has eight factories in total in the UK. About the role. In this challenging and varied role, as a member of the Operational Excellence team you’ll be supporting projects that are in line with the manufacturing strategy and are imperative to the group objectives / success. Alongside designing and deploying methodologies and processes to support the delivery of performance improvement projects in line with the manufacturing strategy. You will provide financial governance of project delivery costs ensure project are delivered on time and to budget. About you. With a proven track record in an operational role you’ll: Have experience of financial analysis, Be an influential communicator, who thrives on challenges, Be passionate about identifying and driving continuous improvement and work in partnership with our manufacturing and site teams, Be skilled at presentation, relationship building, influencing and facilitation, Have experience leading a Continuous Improvement strategy. Have in-depth knowledge of multiple Lean / CI / OPEX tools and methodologies. What you’ll receive.
