At Bakkafrost Scotland we breed, rear and process superior salmon in the pristine waters of the West Highlands and Islands. As a mobile Marine Engineering Technician you will work as directed by the Engineering Manager. You will ensure the highest standards of maintenance of all our shore and sea based assets. You should be familiar with the maintenance of both petrol and diesel engines and marine vessels. Basic fabrication skills would also be preferable.
Responsibilities
- Maintain shore and sea based assets to high engineering standards.
- Service and repair petrol and diesel engines and marine vessels as required.
- Carry out basic fabrication tasks as needed to support maintenance and repair activities.
- Follow engineering management direction and uphold safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Experience in maintenance of petrol and diesel engines and marine vessels.
- Basic fabrication skills (preferred).
- Ability to work as directed by Engineering Manager.
