The role works closely with attorneys, clients, and finance teams to support the full revenue lifecycle while helping drive operational excellence and service delivery.

Main responsibilities:

Build and maintain strong relationships with attorneys, clients, and internal stakeholders to support billing and collections activitiesManage the end-to-end revenue cycle, including matter set-up support, billing, collections, and inventory managementMonitor client billing requirements, rate arrangements, fee caps, discounts, and matter budgets, ensuring compliance with client guidelinesCoordinate the billing process from draft to final invoice, ensuring timely review, submission, and posting of invoicesSupport eBilling activities, including client onboarding, electronic invoice submission, troubleshooting, and payment follow-upCommunicate directly with clients and attorneys regarding billing arrangements, collection matters, and account status updatesPrepare and analyze billing, collections, accrual, and payment reports, identifying trends and recommending solutionsDevelop and maintain billing forecasts, collection projections, and portfolio reportingMonitor unapplied cash balances and collaborate with Accounts Receivable teams to ensure accurate payment applicationAct as a key contact within the Pod, providing guidance, knowledge sharing, and support to colleaguesTrain and mentor Pod team members while contributing to process improvements and operational efficiencySkills and experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent experiencePrevious experience in billing, collections, revenue management, or revenue cycle operationsPrior law firm or professional services experience is strongly preferredStrong understanding of the end-to-end revenue lifecycle, including billing, collections, matter management, and client financial processesExperience working with financial management systems; SAP and Intapp experience is desirableAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and business acumen skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder expectations in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and relationship-building skills, including interaction with senior stakeholdersProven ability to work independently, take ownership of issues, and drive resolutionsStrong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to high-quality service deliveryAdvanced English proficiencyFlexibility to support a London business-hours scheduleBaker McKenzie empowers clients to compete in the global economy.
