Join Our Subsea Production Systems Team. Our Oilfield Equipment business provides intelligent, connected technologies to monitor and control our energy extraction assets. We provide customers with the peace of mind needed to reliably and efficiently improve their operations. Our team is the last line of defense for quality before it goes to our customers.
The Master Scheduler will coordinate and expedite the flow of materials (from suppliers and also within departments) according to production schedules. They will plan and schedule all material/production needs for our Nailsea Site. They will work in a cross-functional team, innovating and pushing for change where needed whilst really taking ownership of planning processes.
As a Master Scheduler, you will be responsible for:
- Managing master planning, material processes and systems, preparing and updating production schedules and purchasing needs, and optimizing inventory and process improvements.
- Driving the S&OP process including workload and capacity analysis.
- Managing production slot plans and dates for both manufactured components and bought out finish items.
- Driving ownership of plan and ensuring executability until handover to execution.
- Redefining processes and procedures on a regular basis and requiring frequent interaction with adjacent functions (e.g. engineering, planning, maintenance).
- Handling latitude in manufacturing techniques. Manufacturing process requires choosing right approaches. Employees should have technical know-how.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in a relevant subject.
- Possess demonstrable experience of working in a materials planning capacity in an electro-mechanical environment.
- Be willing to take ownership of processes, innovating where possible and leading by example.
