As a Warehouse & Yard Operator, you will be responsible for supporting warehouse and yard operations, ensuring efficient material movement, inventory accuracy, and compliance with safety and quality requirements. You will work closely with Manufacturing, AMO, Service Delivery, Logistics, and Quality teams to ensure operational excellence and on-time deliveries.
As a Warehouse & Yard Operator, you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining efficient warehouse and yard operations while supporting workflow optimization and Lean initiatives.
- Operating forklifts and handling materials safely within warehouse and yard environments.
- Coordinating with AMO, Manufacturing, Service Delivery, Logistics, and Quality teams to ensure timely deliveries and shipments.
- Performing SAP transactions and maintaining accurate records for material movements, inventory, and operational activities.
- Executing timely and accurate data entry across relevant business systems.
- Supporting 6S and Lean initiatives, including Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, and Safety activities.
- Conducting physical inventory counts, cycle counts, asset verification activities, and ensuring inventory accuracy.
- Following competency management requirements, safety procedures, and quality standards while supporting additional warehouse and yard projects as assigned.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have experience in warehouse, logistics, yard operations, manufacturing, or a related industrial environment.
- Demonstrate experience operating forklifts and handling materials safely and efficiently.
- Have experience with SAP or other ERP systems for inventory and material transactions.
- Possess a strong understanding of inventory control, material movement, and warehouse processes.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Lean principles, continuous improvement practices, and 6S methodology.
- Have strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate inventory and system records.
- Possess good communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple functions.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence while working independently under general supervision.
