As a The Manufacturing Engineer Team Leader- Operations, you will be responsible for:
- Remain current in manufacturing technology. Capability & credibility to influence engineering on design for manufacturability.
- Driving performance improvements, cost reductions and problem resolutions for subsea products.
- Leading business initiatives in manufacturing technology, quality and productivity
- Providing guidance and mentoring to ME team.
- Developing the next line of ME’s through sharing domain knowledge, providing technical guidance, implement training modules and competence programmes as necessary.
- Executing and provide guidance for the analysis / evaluation of assigned projects that meet business standards, practices and procedures and the product / program requirements
- Developing action plans to anticipate and respond to problems
- Assuring proper documentation of data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with policies and procedures
- Monitoring and communicating project status, business issues and significant developments
- Set G&O’s for team members, monitor performance, provide feedback and conduct PD discussions.
- Demonstrating team performance through SMART metrics

To be successful in this role, you should have
- An Engineering degree or equivalent with strong experience in People Management/ Team Management
- Experience within an oil and gas service industry. Preferably with experience with executing maintenance and repair scopes for subsea production equipment and wellhead tooling
- Looking for candidates who has Manufacturing, maintenance, production
- Experience in Mechanical Design
- Ability to understand engineering outputs and convert into workshop (and supply chain) scopes of works and instructions
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, including ability to lead ME’s.
- Demonstrated initiative to stay abreast of technology advancements
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to guide and influence others
- Demonstrated process orientation in approach to work
- Have permanent work permit in UK
