We are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer who leads from the drawing board, takes ownership from concept through delivery, and wants real influence over complex urban developments. This is a design-led role for a civil engineer who thrives on solving problems, coordinating disciplines, and turning technical expertise into buildable, high-quality solutions.
What you will do
- Lead civil design packages across earthworks, drainage, pavements, and external works
- Deliver multidisciplinary projects from concept through detailed design
- Coordinate 3D underground services and interface with other design disciplines
- Act as the technical lead for civil elements on projects
- Build trusted relationships with clients and key stakeholders
- Take ownership of quality, coordination, and delivery outcomes
What you bring
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Strong technical capability in earthworks, drainage, pavement design, and external works
- Hands-on drainage design experience using MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage, or similar
- Experience delivering multidisciplinary design projects
- Confidence working with 3D underground services coordination
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- UK design consultancy experience is essential
- This role requires active civil design delivery rather than site-based execution

- Chartered or Incorporated Member of ICE, or working towards it
- Experience across multiple sectors
- Exposure to complex urban or constrained sites
