At BakerHicks, we are expanding our Process Engineering team and are looking for a Mechanical Engineer who wants hands-on exposure to complex pharmaceutical and manufacturing projects, not just another desk-based design role. This is an opportunity to work on technically challenging facilities where precision, compliance, and innovation really matter.

What you'll be doing:

  • Producing mechanical designs, specifications, and technical reports for process equipment and environments
  • Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver fully integrated design solutions
  • Contributing to concept and detailed design stages for manufacturing and process plants
  • Applying OEM standards to ensure effective equipment integration and performance

What we're looking for:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Experience in a Mechanical Engineering role a must - experience in process environments a plus!
  • A fully completed Mechanical Engineering graduate programme in the last year or 2.
  • A strong technical foundation with a genuine interest in process environments
  • Experience or understanding of OEM standards and equipment integration
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach
  • Eligibility to work permanently in the UK without sponsorship
