At BakerHicks, we are expanding our Process Engineering team and are looking for a Mechanical Engineer who wants hands-on exposure to complex pharmaceutical and manufacturing projects, not just another desk-based design role. This is an opportunity to work on technically challenging facilities where precision, compliance, and innovation really matter.
What you'll be doing:
- Producing mechanical designs, specifications, and technical reports for process equipment and environments
- Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver fully integrated design solutions
- Contributing to concept and detailed design stages for manufacturing and process plants
- Applying OEM standards to ensure effective equipment integration and performance
What we're looking for:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Experience in a Mechanical Engineering role a must - experience in process environments a plus!
- A fully completed Mechanical Engineering graduate programme in the last year or 2.
- A strong technical foundation with a genuine interest in process environments
- Experience or understanding of OEM standards and equipment integration
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Eligibility to work permanently in the UK without sponsorship
