At BakerHicks, we are always on the lookout for talented Geotechnical Engineers, from graduates starting their careers to experienced Principals and Associates, to join our dynamic, multi-disciplinary Ground Engineering teams.
As part of our Geotechnical group, you will contribute to complex, high-profile schemes across transportation, energy, life sciences, industrial, and major public infrastructure. You will work alongside nationally recognised experts to deliver innovative, sustainable, and technically robust solutions, helping clients tackle everything from ground investigations to advanced foundation design.
We are interested in hearing from professionals with experience in:
- Planning and supervising site investigations
- Foundation, slope stability, earthworks, and retaining structures design
- Ground movement assessments and geotechnical risk management
- Using industry software such as Plaxis, Wallap, or similar
- Preparing geotechnical reports, specifications, and design calculations
- Collaborating with civil, structural, and environmental engineering teams
- Applying relevant Eurocodes, British Standards, and best practice guidance
- Leading projects, teams, or client relationships (for Senior/Associate levels)
