As our projects grow in scale and complexity, we are looking for a Senior Project Planner to join our expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a dynamic project portfolio within a major EPCM framework, contributing to the success of high-impact infrastructure and life sciences projects.
The Opportunity
As a Senior Project Planner, you’ll play a key role in planning and scheduling multi-disciplinary design projects. You’ll work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Clients to ensure robust programme development, progress tracking, and risk mitigation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
- Collaborate with project teams to gather input and ensure schedule accuracy
- Monitor progress, analyse variances, and provide clear, actionable reporting
- Lead planning practices and support change control processes
- Conduct critical path analysis and develop mitigation strategies
- Produce schedule narratives and contribute to monthly reporting
About You
- Extensive experience in project planning within infrastructure or life sciences sectors
- Proficient in Primavera P6
- Strong understanding of NEC contracts and the RIBA Plan of Work
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and analytical skills
- Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Confident, proactive, and solutions-focused with a 'can-do' attitude
