Lead the delivery of major highways projects and help shape the future of transport infrastructure. We’re looking for an experienced Highways Delivery Lead with strong project management capability to oversee the successful delivery of highways schemes from concept through to completion. This is a senior role requiring a proven ability to manage project scope, programme, cost, risk, resources, and stakeholder expectations across complex infrastructure projects.
Working with multidisciplinary teams, you’ll drive collaboration, solve complex challenges, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
What you’ll do:
- Lead highways projects and programmes across the full lifecycle
- Drive project delivery across scope, programme, cost, quality, and safety
- Develop and manage project plans, delivery strategies, and risk mitigation
- Provide technical oversight and ensure compliance with industry standards and contract requirements
- Manage commercial performance, change control, and contractual obligations
- Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted delivery partner
- Lead multidisciplinary teams and support capability growth
What we’re looking for:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) with ICE, CIHT, or equivalent preferable
- Strong project management experience within highways or infrastructure delivery
- Proven ability to manage budgets, programmes, risk, and resource planning
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams on complex projects
- Strong commercial awareness and contract management capability
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
