At BakerHicks, we’re expanding our Process Engineering team and are looking for a Mechanical Engineer who wants hands‑on exposure to complex pharmaceutical and manufacturing projects, not just another desk‑based design role. What you’ll be doing:

  • Producing mechanical designs, specifications, and technical reports for process equipment and environments
  • Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver fully integrated design solutions
  • Contributing to concept and detailed design stages for manufacturing and process plants
  • Applying OEM standards to ensure effective equipment integration and performance

What we’re looking for:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Experience as a Mechanical Engineer – experience in process environments a plus!
  • A strong technical foundation with a genuine interest in process environments
  • Experience or understanding of OEM standards and equipment integration
  • A proactive, solutions‑focused approach
  • Eligibility to work permanently in the UK without sponsorship
