Opportunity
We are building a talent pool of experienced Highways Engineers and Road Safety Auditors to support upcoming and future projects across our UK portfolio.
This is an expression of interest for contract work; successful candidates will be added to a pre‑qualified contractor pool and may be engaged as early as project needs arise.
- What We’re Looking For
- Highways Engineers
- Lead the planning, design and delivery of highway infrastructure projects in accordance with relevant standards, client requirements and statutory obligations.
- Provide technical leadership, project management support and quality assurance throughout project lifecycles.
- Significant experience in the design and delivery of UK highway infrastructure projects.
- Strong working knowledge of DMRB, Manual for Streets, CDM Regulations and local authority design standards.
- Experience in highway geometry, drainage, pavement design, active travel infrastructure and development‑related works.
- Proficiency in relevant highway design software and CAD platforms.
- Background working on infrastructure, development or local authority projects.
- Road Safety Auditors
- Independently assess highway and traffic schemes to identify potential road safety issues and recommend measures to reduce collision risk for all road users.
- Deliver and report Stage 1‑4 Road Safety Audits, including audit briefs, reports, site inspections, documentation of findings and recommendations, and participation in audit meetings.
- Have appropriate road safety audit accreditation and training.
- Demonstrable experience undertaking Road Safety Audits on UK highway schemes.
- Detailed knowledge of DMRB GG 119 and related highway design standards.
- Strong analytical and report‑writing skills.
- Experience of traffic signals, junction improvements, active travel schemes and highway infrastructure projects.
