Be the Driving Force in Power Projects – Principal Engineer (Civil/Structural)
BakerHicks are looking for a Chartered Principal Civil or Structural Engineer to lead the delivery of power sector projects from either our Warwick, London or Scotland office. This is a senior role where you’ll take ownership of projects, guide multi-disciplinary teams, and act as the key point of contact for clients.
Key responsibilities
- Lead civil and structural engineering input on power projects
- Provide technical direction and ensure quality across all design stages
- Mentor, support and develop junior engineers within the team
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes
- Support business development and contribute to the growth of our power offering
What we’re looking for
- Chartered Engineer (ICE or IStructE)
- Strong consultancy background in civil or structural engineering
- Experience in the power sector, or interest in applying your expertise to this field
- Proven leadership and project management skills
- Excellent communication and client-facing ability
