We are looking for an experienced Geotechnical Engineer operating at, or ready to step into, Associate level (line management level, not entry), with a strong background in engineering geology or geotechnical engineering within a design consultancy environment. You will be confident working autonomously from the outset, with the vision and drive to build and develop a high-performing team around you. You will bring strong technical expertise across core ground engineering disciplines, including desk studies, ground investigation specification, technical reporting, ground modelling, earthworks and foundation design. Commercial awareness and the ability to win and secure work will also be key.

Our projects span the full breadth of the UK, from Shetland to Devon, offering exposure to a diverse range of ground conditions and engineering challenges rather than being confined to a single geological setting.

  • Act as technical lead and reviewer for geotechnical work across a range of project sizes in sectors including rail, power, defence, aviation, public sector and life sciences
