We are currently looking for a talented Estimator to join our team at BakerHicks. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive cost estimates for projects at various stages across multiple sectors including Infrastructure, Government, Defence, and Life Sciences & Industry. Your expertise in cost estimation fundamentals and project planning will play a crucial role in the success of our projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints.
Key Objectives
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for each project phase in collaboration with the Project Team and stakeholders.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of estimating norms and benchmarks.
- Validate contractor-provided cost estimates and assist with the approval process.
- Participate in estimate reviews with contractors and clients to ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Provide input to the Change Control Process and ensure compliance with company and client quality assurance standards.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as an Estimator in the construction or related industries.
- Strong understanding of cost estimation, construction execution, and project delivery methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for cost analysis and reporting.
- Experience working with contractors, clients, and project teams to ensure timely delivery of projects within budget.
