At BakerHicks, our Electrical team is known for making the complex simple. Providing expert solutions across various niche sectors, they work seamlessly within a multi-disciplinary team, trusted by our clients to deliver inventive solutions to complex technical design challenges. The successful candidate is expected to have a strong track record in one or, preferably, multiple sectors that BakerHicks operates in. You will ideally be working towards becoming a Chartered Engineer with experience working on a variety of projects.

Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for designing and specifying all aspects of Electrical engineering deliverables in accordance with current guidelines, standards, regulations and project deliverables.
  • You will contribute to the development and mentoring of our Early Careers population and the continuous improvement of departmental capabilities.
  • Provide engineering services design and consultancy work on behalf of Baker Hicks under the direction of the line manager or project lead.
  • Produce design deliverables (including drawings, specifications and reports), site surveys, construction stage duties, client liaison with members of design/construction teams, project management, costing and ensure progress against the project brief.
  • Champion quality and compliance controls within local teams and projects.

You’ll be part of an enthusiastic and committed team of Engineers and Technicians to deliver high quality output on projects.
