BakerHicks is looking for a Highway Engineer with experience delivering highways and civil engineering projects. You’ll work on small to medium projects and defined packages on larger schemes, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, compliant designs.

  • Design and deliver highways and civil engineering works in line with current standards and regulations
  • Manage design packages, meeting time, cost, and quality objectives
  • Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Experience in highways and civil engineering design packages
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD
  • Drainage & SuDS experience (InfoWorks / MicroDrainage)
  • Knowledge of UK highways standards (DMRB, Manual for Streets, LTN 1/20, TSRGD, etc.)
  • Strong communication and report-writing skills
  • Eligible for UK security clearance and full UK driving licence
