Established in 1995, bakergoodchild is an independent, privately-owned mailing house based in Birmingham. We’ve grown organically into a market leader in direct mail, print, data and postal solutions, handling every stage of a campaign in-house – from creative and data through to print, fulfilment and despatch. We work with businesses across the UK and overseas, including organisations in regulated sectors, and hold accreditations such as ISO27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, ISO14001 and FSC certification. Our people, our technology and our commitment to sustainability are what set us apart.

About frankk: frankk is our fast-growing, self-serve online Direct Mail platform. Through API connections and ongoing integration with leading third-party systems, frankk is bringing direct mail up to speed with other marketing channels – giving clients the ability to define their targeting, upload or build artwork, personalise their message and deploy campaigns across a range of formats. The platform also supports genuine programmatic delivery, drawing data from multiple platforms and CRMs to trigger the right message at the right moment within a wider customer journey. As with everything we do, frankk is built and run entirely in-house, from development through to final delivery.

The Role: This is a pivotal, senior appointment in frankk’s growth journey. Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, you’ll take ownership of the existing growth strategy – shaping, evolving and driving it forward. We have ambitious plans for the platform, and we’re looking for someone tenacious and hungry to help us realise them. It’s a role that calls for a rare combination of commercial drive and genuine attention to detail. You’ll split your time between promoting the platform – through marketing, social media and industry events – and working hands‑on with clients, from converting inbound leads to growing existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the SLT to develop and take ownership of frankk’s growth strategy.
  • Lead marketing activity for the platform and wider business, including social media and content.
  • Represent frankk at industry events, building the platform’s profile in the market.
  • Work with the wider team to convert inbound PPC leads into new business.
  • Identify and develop cross-sell opportunities into the existing bakergoodchild client base.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for frankk clients, managing onboarding and ongoing account relationships.
  • Nurture and grow client relationships over time, ensuring long‑term retention and satisfaction.

You’ll report into the Director of Client Services and sit within the wider Client Services team.
