Job Summary
Lead and manage transfer pricing and corporate tax advisory engagements, delivering expert solutions that support client tax needs and drive business growth within an international network.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage transfer pricing and corporate tax advisory engagements to deliver tailored solutions that meet client tax requirements.
- Provide expert transfer pricing support to clients, ensuring compliance and strategic alignment with their business objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with key client contacts to foster trust and long-term collaboration.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues across the Baker Tilly International Network to leverage global expertise and resources.
- Support the creation and orchestration of marketing and business development materials to enhance client engagement and firm visibility.
- Utilize and contribute to the network’s collaboration tools to identify business opportunities and optimize resource sharing.
- Respond promptly and constructively to transfer pricing inquiries from Baker Tilly colleagues, delivering actionable solutions or detailed plans for complex requests.
- Coordinate with international colleagues to secure and execute key tax projects involving international tax structuring and transfer pricing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or other business-related field, with a professional qualification recognised by ISCA.
- Accredited Tax Practitioner (ATP) (Income Tax) or higher, with SIATP, will be an advantage.
- At least 5 years of relevant tax experience preferably with an international accounting firm, with 2 years or more in a review or managerial role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. A working knowledge of a second language may be an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to details, with an ability to work within tight deadlines.
- Self-motivated and driven.
- Interest in working with international colleagues.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must have a global outlook and experience of dealing with cultural differences diplomatically and positively.
