The Role:
Based in Manchester, this role offers the chance to work on diverse and rewarding projects, helping to protect and enhance natural habitats. You will support the team with ecological surveys, habitat assessments, data analysis, and reporting, while developing your expertise and learning from industry leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct ecological surveys, including protected species surveys.
- Assist in habitat and biodiversity assessments.
- Analyse data and contribute to high-quality ecological reports.
- Provide ecological input into planning applications and environmental assessments.
- Support senior ecologists with project management and client engagement.
- Stay up to date with relevant environmental policies and legislation.

Requirements
- A degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- 2 or more full seasons as an Ecologist
- A keen interest in UK wildlife and conservation.
- Experience with ecological surveying methods (beneficial but not essential).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- A full UK driving licence
