You’ll be setting, programming and operating CNC lathes using FANUC controls, producing precision components across a mix of work from one-off parts to medium-volume batches. This is a practical, hands-on role where you’re trusted to:
- Set and program CNC lathes efficiently and accurately
- Select tooling and cutting parameters appropriate to the job
- Produce components to tight tolerances and quality standards
- Inspect and measure finished parts before release
- Communicate clearly between shifts to keep work flowing
