A leading national insurance broker is seeking an experienced Commercial Account Handler to join their established team based in Shipley, Bradford. The Role
Working closely with Account Executives and clients, you will manage a varied portfolio of commercial insurance accounts across a range of industries. You’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional client service, handling renewals, mid-term adjustments, and supporting new business activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients
- Handling renewals, MTAs, and day-to-day client enquiries
- Preparing market presentations and obtaining quotations from insurers
- Liaising with insurers to negotiate competitive terms
- Supporting Account Executives with client servicing and retention
- Ensuring FCA compliance and maintaining accurate records
- Building strong relationships with clients and insurer partners
About You
- Previous experience as a Commercial Account Handler within an insurance brokerage
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Organised with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage workloads effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Acturis experience beneficial but not essential
- Cert CII qualified or working towards qualifications advantageous
