The Security Sales Manager is responsible for generating new business opportunities and developing client relationships for CCTV and security solutions. This office-based position will identify prospects, manage the sales pipeline, and convert opportunities into long-term customers across commercial and residential sectors. The role will report to the Commercial Director. Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm. Location is based in LS1 but hybrid working can be an option. £35,000 per annum.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for CCTV systems alongside our full portfolio of security solutions.
  • Proactively generate leads using lead generation platforms, outbound prospecting, and networking.
  • Strengthen and maintain relationships with current clients.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with new clients.
  • Manage and maintain sales activity using the company CRM system.
  • Qualify incoming enquiries and convert them into sales opportunities.
  • Arrange site visits and meetings with potential clients where required.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and follow up with prospects.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reporting.
  • Stay informed about market trends and competitor offerings within the security industry.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Proven sales experience within the security industry (CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, manned guarding or related systems).
  • Experience using CRM systems to manage leads, pipeline, and client interactions.
  • Experience using lead generation platforms (e.g., Barbour ABI, Lusha, etc.).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to generating new business.
DESIRABLE SKILLS
  • Knowledge of commercial security installations and CCTV systems.
  • Experience selling B2B security solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
