Job Description

Fire Alarm Engineer – Heywood, Manchester, Liverpool, Bradford, Burnley, Halifax, Stoke\\n\\nWe are seeking a skilled Fire Engineer to join our team, responsible for the maintenance and small works of fire protection systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of system design and have hands-on experience with various tools and equipment. This role requires a combination of technical knowledge and practical skills to ensure that fire safety systems are effective and compliant with regulations.\\n\\nResponsibilities\\n\\n * Conduct site assessments to determine the appropriate fire safety measures required.\\n\\n * Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during maintenance and repairs.\\n\\n * Collaborate with customers to integrate fire safety measures into building designs.\\n\\n * Provide technical support and guidance on fire safety regulations and standards.\\n\\n * Maintain accurate records of installations, inspections, and maintenance activities.\\n\\nExperience\\n\\n * Proven experience in system design related to fire protection or similar fields.\\n\\n * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.\\n\\n * Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in installation processes.\\n\\n * Previous electrical experience is advantageous for understanding system integrations.\\n\\n * Background in construction is preferred, providing insight into building processes and requirements.
