We are now hiring for our site in Peterborough for a Quality and Compliance Engineer.
This position is based at our Peterborough site Monday – Friday. Full benefits below.
Job Purpose
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality and Compliance Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring our products and processes meet the highest quality standards and comply with all relevant regulations. This role is crucial in maintaining our reputation for excellence and supporting our commitment to delivering superior products to our customers.
Main Duties
- Develop and implement quality control procedures, including creating and managing quality plans for pressure vessel manufacture.
- Conduct inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Work with teams on precise root cause analysis and drive effective preventative actions.
- Organise and coordinate inspection visits with authorizing inspection agencies in line with production schedules.
- Manage welder qualifications and re-qualifications as per requirements.
- Support ISO 9001 accreditation and assist in the development of a robust quality system.
- Report quality issues via our non-conformance system and manage the quarantine of non-conforming parts.
- Assist with supplier reviews and ensure spare parts are inspected without impacting lead times.
Candidate Profile
- A sound understanding of CNC machining, welding and assembly of large capital equipment.
- Experience in quality control preferably in the food industry.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, including ISO 9001.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
