We Are Now Hiring, For Our Site In Peterborough Mechanical Installation Engineer Food Industry Equipment (m/f/d) Job Description Travelling both within the UK and overseas, you will play a crucial role in the installation of the full range of our EMEA equipment on customer sites to ensure that it is built to the required specification, good quality and health & safety standards within the allocated time and budgeted cost. Main duties Oversee the installation and commissioning of food processing machinery at client sites: Unload or supervise the unloading of machinery Prepare the area where the machinery is to be installed Install or monitor the installation of machinery Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and providing exceptional customer service throughout the installation process Collaborate with our engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during installation Produce a regular report of site activities detailing progress and highlighting any issues Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the installation process Required Profile Your profile Proven experience in machinery installation or commissioning, preferably in the food industry Certification for safe lifting practice e.g. forklift truck drivers licence, crane operation and slinging certificates, powered access equipment certificate, etc. Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients Willingness to travel (at short notice) and work on customer sites both in the UK and overseas a valid driving licence is required What We Offer We are able to teach you the different aspects of our expertise and integrate you quickly into our passionate team.
