We are now hiring for our site in Peterborough:

Job description:

Travelling both within the UK and overseas, you will play a crucial role in the installation of the full range of our EMEA equipment on customer sites to ensure that it is built to the required specification, good quality and health & safety standards within the allocated time and budgeted cost.

Main duties:

  • Oversee the installation and commissioning of food processing machinery at client sites.
  • Unload or supervise the unloading of machinery.
  • Prepare the area where the machinery is to be installed.
  • Install or monitor the installation of machinery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and providing exceptional customer service throughout the installation process.
  • Collaborate with our engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during installation.
  • Produce a regular report of site activities detailing progress and highlighting any issues.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the installation process.

Required profile:

Your profile:

  • Proven experience in machinery installation or commissioning, preferably in the food industry.
  • Certification for safe lifting practice e.g. forklift truck drivers licence, crane operation and slinging certificates, powered access equipment certificate, etc.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients.
  • Willingness to travel (at short notice) and work on customer sites both in the UK and overseas; a valid driving licence is required.
