The Product Information Manager will be responsible for overseeing all information product management and library services, focusing on their design, adoption, performance, and continuous improvement. This role acts as the primary representative of these services across all organizational levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Service Orientation: Represent the service firm-wide, leading adoption efforts and engaging with project, transition, and leadership teams.
  • Collaborate with various internal teams and external suppliers to define and implement information product management services aligned with firm strategies, ensuring stakeholder needs are met and value is added.
  • Design and approve service materials, define KPIs and SLAs, monitor performance, and manage operational aspects.
  • Ensure consistent high-quality service delivery through collaboration with knowledge and service teams.
  • Engage stakeholders to gather feedback, understand requirements, and identify improvements.
  • Support the adoption and ROI of subscription services, advising on best practices and change management strategies.
  • Lead projects related to information product management and support global knowledge initiatives.
  • Manage and support complex information product requests, acting as team lead when necessary.

People Management:

  • Lead and monitor the performance and development of the Center's Information Product Management teams.
  • Ensure teams are agile, high-performing, and adaptable to technological and market changes.
  • Provide training and development opportunities.
  • Support other management needs within the knowledge teams.

Knowledge & Expertise:

  • Maintain expertise in information management, staying updated on market developments and internal practices.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and oversee procurement of resources.
  • Develop expertise in GenAI tools relevant to legal research and drafting.
  • Document and understand complex business requirements for information services.
  • Be recognized as the go-to expert within the firm for information product management issues.

Operational Efficiencies, Quality and Risk Mitigation:

  • Address service issues and feedback to maintain quality and minimize risks.
  • Leverage GenAI tools to enhance productivity and service quality.
  • Manage internal and external communications and develop training content.
  • Define and analyze processes, policies, and best practices, conducting audits and reporting.
  • Work with technical teams to support service tools, upgrades, and troubleshooting.

Skills and Experience:

  • Degree in library, information science, legal information management, or similar (post-graduate preferred).
  • Experience with global knowledge and research services, vendor negotiations, and subscription management.
  • Proficiency with AI tools and data analysis.
  • Experience in service delivery environments with multiple stakeholders and process improvement.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills, including virtual teams.
  • Understanding of knowledge strategies and implementation in professional services.
  • Strong project management, technical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and facilitate stakeholder engagement.
  • Flexibility to work across different time zones.
