We are seeking an experienced People and Culture Experience and Performance Partner (Country HR Business Partner) to join our dynamic team in Aberdeen, supporting our Employees and People Leaders across our UK sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources including topics such as Employee relations (Grievances, Disciplinary and HR Investigations), talent and succession planning, performance management and compliance. This role will be instrumental in aligning HR strategies with business objectives, fostering a positive workplace culture, and managing employee relations effectively.
The Quality Compliance Specialist is a role that can have varied responsibilities relating to the maintenance of our Quality Management System (QMS), Multisite Certification Program, conducting of ISO and/or API audits, and ensuring regulatory or industry standards are embedded into our quality systems and processes. The role is specifically focused on within the Oilfield Services Portfolio of Baker Hughes. The Quality Engineer/Specialist, Compliance is a full-time position that reports to the Quality Manager, Compliance.
As a Quality Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Participating in HSE programs as assigned
- Working areas of the facility in a safe, clean and organized manner at all times in accordance to with 6S Checklist
- If ever you see anyone around you performing an unsafe act or working in an unsafe condition, immediately Stop Work and report to your lead/supervisor/manager
- If ever any HSE incident takes place, Stop Work and report immediately to your lead/supervisor/manager
- Reviewing all associated ORA’s/HRA’s/MOC’s/Work Permits prior to starting work and exercise Stop Work at any time for Safety
- Acting as a member of the Internal Audit and Compliance Team in performing evaluation for compliance with regulatory, statutory or industry standards requirements.
- Assessing compliance of systems, processes and procedures through internal audits
- Providing feedback in the form of audit findings and observation and review corrective actions
- Providing regional support on regulatory and industry standards
- Raise corrective action requests for any nonconformities identified, follow up and review effectiveness until proper closure
- Serves as a subject matter expert for industry standards, regulatory and statutory requirements
- Identifying and implementing regulatory compliance initiatives based on current and forthcoming regulatory requirements
- Identifying cost-out opportunities and elevate to lead/supervisor/manager/AMO engineer for review/implementation

Experience in functional quality experience
Certified Auditor status ISO 9001:2015 and/or API Q1/API Q2 or deemed subject matter expert for Oil & Gas industry quality standards
