Overview

In this role you will shape and execute regional People & Culture initiatives to enhance employee experience and ensure local compliance. You will partner with leaders to align HR strategies with business goals, manage employee relations, and foster a high-performance culture. You will support talent management, workforce planning, policies, and local labor compliance while coordinating with global XP leaders. This position offers impact across the Aberdeen site footprint and cross-functional teams in a dynamic energy company.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first HR point of contact for employees and leaders, providing coaching and support for HR processes
  • Execute core P&C processes (employment agreements, promotions, salary adjustments, internal movements)
  • Lead local talent management activities and support workforce planning and talent reviews
  • Coach people leaders and drive employee engagement initiatives at the country level
  • Communicate and implement country-specific HR policies; monitor labor law updates
  • Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and support audits/inspections
  • Coordinate disciplinary and grievance procedures with XP Leader and LER CoE
  • Support PIP processes and follow-up actions; assist with restructuring, RIF, and M&A documentation
  • Coordinate site assessments and labor office inspections; liaise with HR Shared Services and Payroll to resolve issues

Key requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or CIPD) with HR experience (HR generalist or HRBP)
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills at all levels
  • Solid understanding of labor laws, employee relations, and HR best practices
  • Experience in an Industrial/ manufacturing/ digital technology domain (preferred)
  • Proactive, results-oriented mindset with high integrity and confidentiality
