Are you a hands-on Quality Inspector with experience in quality control and auditing? Would you like to join a world class, multidisciplinary engineering team? Join Our Subsea Production Team! Our global team is responsible for the successful delivery of innovative product and system designs for our customers.
The Quality Inspector will perform quality assurance activities as required by manufacturing/engineering specifications and ISO requirements. You will carry out product and process surveillance, including the liaison with manufacturing personnel to ensure that any problems identified and recorded are dealt with effectively. You will also raise non-conformance records related to product build problems.
As a QC Inspector, you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out specialist inspection techniques in accordance with build requirements to ensure Piece Part Acceptance.
- Ensuring all aspects of production are carried out in accordance with company procedures relating to HSE and relevant quality Codes of Practice.
- Ensuring Purchase Order documentation is correct and completed to date before, during and on completion of the build process.
- Providing the verification and sign off of process generated documentation related to the manufacture of subsea controls and ancillary equipment.
- Ensuring safe working practices are adhered to at all times and general working order is maintained to a high standard.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a background in Mechanical or Quality Engineering, ideally as an apprentice or with a relevant qualification plus industrial experience.
- Be a self-starter who is driven to learn and develop their skillset further.
