Are you a Quality Specialist looking for a stimulating new opportunity? Baker Hughes is seeking a Lean Leader. As Manufacturing Engineer, you will provide support for solving complex technical problems that arise in manufacturing production. Working with leading-edge technology, you will make key decisions, resolve issues and oversee projects to shape enhancements. You will unite cross-functional teams to connect, share knowledge, innovate and develop improvements.

As a Manufacturing Engineer and LEAN Initiatives, you will develop an operational plan for manufacturing activities. You will suggest improvements and standardize manufacturing processes. You will lead and provide guidelines for our manufacturing plant for choosing the right actions.

As a Lead Quality Specialist – Manufacturing Improvement (Master Black Belt), you will be responsible for:

  • Driving Lean Manufacturing activities and deploying Lean methods, tools, and roadmaps.
  • Leading kaizen events, value-stream improvements, and Lean capability-building initiatives.
  • Managing medium-scale improvement projects and contributing to major transformations.
  • Coaching leaders and teams on Lean principles, visual management, and problem-solving.
  • Developing CI training and simulations while building a good pipeline of Lean practitioners and CI champions through Gemba coaching.
  • Mentoring Green Belts, Black Belts, engineers, and leaders on Lean, Six Sigma, and advanced quality tools.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have an educational background in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Have significant experience in manufacturing, operations, quality, supply chain, or OpEx roles.
  • Demonstrate proven success in leading Lean transformations with measurable KPI impact.
  • Hold a Lean/Six Sigma Green or Black Belt; Master Black Belt is ideal.
  • Possess professional proficiency in Lean tools such as VSM, standard work, SMED, 5S, TPM, and structured problem-solving.
  • Show a very good track record of coaching leaders and developing CI capability across teams.
  • Bring good analytical skills with hands-on experience in Power BI, MES, and ERP systems.
  • Exhibit excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
