As a Shop / Plant Operator, you will be responsible for:
- Fully participate in HSE Management Program and comply with all safety, health and environmental regulations.
- Ensuring compliance in respective areas of control with all QHSE Management System requirements, policies and procedures.
- Ensuring workshop remains tidy, bins emptied, and presentation of the workshop adheres to safety and 6S standards.
- Delivering material and test equipment into the workshop.
- Working within the strict labour hours cycle for operations, both direct and indirect hours.
- Be flexible to transfer between working cells as required to meet business requirements, clean up tasks and forklift driving to support Cell.
- Engaging with the BH Cultural Pillars & New Behaviours.
- Ensuring documentation completion (where applicable).
- Engaging with project production visibility schedule boards 6S (Start / End of shift – workshop housekeeping).
- Adhering to PPE and HRO Compliance (Crane, Forklift, MEWP Scaftags signed up, Work at Height adherence).
- Engaging with HSE & Quality system applications (Concern Reports, Quality Concerns, Stop Works, etc).
- Engaging with on-site production improvements (YESS, CI’s).
- Ensuring compliance with COSHH and COSHH register.
- Oracle – vouchering is accurate to drive correct PMR.
- Understanding utilization and how this affects personal and business requirements.
- Adhering to Time and attendance and maintaining core and product competencies within the identified BH competency cycle.
- Personal Management of yearly holiday entitlement.
- Enduring Personal absence Management.
- Be Flexible for holiday cover and overtime requirements.
- Refresher training completed (flexibility is a requirement due to shifts and trainer availability).
- All on-line training completed before end of year (My learning).
- Ensure Competency (CMS) maintained and updated through the year (Note: Dates cannot go beyond year requirement).
To be successful in this role you will:
- Minimum relevant years related experience within an Oil & Gas environment as Labourer.
- Have related experience and/or training within a preparation and coating applications environment.
- Certified in the following additional operational activities (Fork lift, Overhead crane, MEWP, Working at Heights).
