The Baker Hughes 12 months Internship is designed to enable students either pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or recently graduated to gain hands-on work experience as the foundation of their professional lives. As an Intern, you will be responsible for:
- Completing internal projects to deliver business outcomes and identify process improvement opportunities.
- Learning internal software and tools to support analysis, reporting, and project delivery.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and interns to interact and network with global business leaders.
- Applying Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures in all situations to ensure compliance is maintained.
- Assisting with SG&A and functional cost analysis, including budget variance reviews, trend analysis, and performance reporting.
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities through data collection, validation, modelling, and variance analysis.
- Preparing financial reports and dashboards to provide accurate and timely insights to business stakeholders.
- Supporting cost governance activities, including tracking spending, analysing cost drivers, and identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Utilizing financial systems and reporting tools, including Microsoft Excel and Power BI, to perform analysis and reporting tasks.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Be currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics or another discipline with a strong focus on analytical problem-solving and data-driven decision making.
- Have maintained a GPA grade greater than or equal to 3.0 out of 4.0 or the equivalent in your country.
- Be fluent in oral and written English and have effective communication skills.
- Be able to legally work in the country that you are applying in, without company sponsorship or time restriction.
