We devise smarter systems to control and monitor oil and gas extraction. Innovating in the energy industry, our subsea and surface pressure capabilities are industry leading. The Flexible Pipe Systems business supply specialist unbonded flexible subsea flowline and riser technology globally.
As a Lead Project Engineer, you will own the project control activity globally and drive consistent functional specifications and common global processes for projects implementation. You will manage activities that are conducted to better understand or ultimately meet the expectations of the customer.
As a Lead Project Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the review and approval of all engineering changes for assigned product lines including:
- Ensure BOM changes are complete and accurate with clear engineering substantiation for the change.
- Change addresses all interfacing components and systems.
- Assigning the appropriate CID reviewers & approvers.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with proven experience in Engineering/Technology).
- Have a good knowledge of technical concepts in technologies.
- Have proven experience in Customer Project Engineering preferably from Oil and Gas sector/ Manufacturing sector.
- Have sound oral and written communication skills.
- Have good interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Have the ability to influence others and lead small teams.
- Be able to lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.
- Have the ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
- Have a Permanent work permit in UK.
