You will be responsible for all technical aspects throughout the lifecycle of the project; covering architecture design, integration, Test and Acceptance of New Product Initiatives for safety critical complex systems. Reporting directly to the Production control systems Engineering Manager, you will work in a high-profile function of Baker Hughes supporting the introduction of new technology.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the design and development of Subsea Controls system using a Systems Engineering-based approach and conducting requirements management and analysis activities.
- Delivering updates to system model.
- Creating and maintaining requirement specifications.
- Production of design review material and Functional Design Specification.
- Assessing and categorizing new technology and products to satisfy requirements and overall system design intent.
- Conducting derivation of system features for incorporation within the design as well as definition and documentation of system interfaces and of the System Service Taxonomy.
- Supporting the definition of the Verification & Validation for the project and support the generation of design verification evidence.
- Understanding and implementation of Material selection and Corrosion protection Philosophy suitable for the target environment.
- Ensuring designs mature in a controlled manner through the use of a robust technical change control and impact assessment process.
- Supporting the definition and delivery of the System Integration Test and Acceptance phases.

Qualifications
- Have Systems Engineering experience using ISO-15288 or equivalent processes.
- Have technical management experience within the System Engineering discipline.
- Possess technical expertise of technologies associated with communications and large-scale enterprise management systems.
- Possess technical expertise of technologies associated with control systems.
