As an Electronics Technician at Baker Hughes, you will be supporting electrical manufacturing activities to deliver high‑quality assemblies. You will work closely with engineers, supervisors, and production teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency across all builds.

As an Electronics Technician, you will be responsible for:

Responsibilities

  • Assembling electronic components and wiring harnesses per drawings
  • Performing precision soldering on SMT and through‑hole components
  • Executing crimping tasks using manual or automated tools
  • Maintaining safe and organized workstations with ESD compliance
  • Documenting production activities and reporting defects
  • Following production schedules and achieving daily output targets
  • Supporting inspections to ensure product quality
  • Coordinating with team members to improve workflow

Essential Skills

  • Strong skills in soldering and crimping
  • Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Knowledge of IPC‑A‑610 and IPC/WHMA‑A‑620 standards
  • Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Basic computer skills for documentation tasks

Qualifications

  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Have relevant experience in electronics assembly or testing
  • Have hands‑on experience with soldering and crimping tools
  • Have familiarity with IPC standards (certification preferred)
