The Data & AI Training and Engagement Leader is responsible for building and delivering the enterprise-wide strategy for education, enablement, and engagement related to data literacy, AI adoption, and responsible use of digital technologies. This role leads the design, development, and deployment of training programs that empower employees to effectively understand, use, and benefit from data and AI capabilities. Partnering closely with Digital Technology (DT), Data & AI, HR/Learning & Development, and business units, this leader will ensure the organization is equipped with the knowledge, confidence, and support needed to embrace digital and AI-driven transformation.
This role will develop a unified curriculum and engagement framework that spans foundational data literacy, AI awareness, hands-on tool training, role-based capabilities, and continuous upskilling pathways. The leader will also cultivate strong stakeholder partnerships to drive a culture of curiosity, innovation, and responsible data use.
As a Data & AI Training and Engagement Leader you will be responsible for:
- Training Strategy & Curriculum Development
- Develop an enterprise-wide Data & AI tailored training strategy aligned with business priorities and digital transformation goals.
- Design and maintain a comprehensive curriculum covering data literacy, analytics skills, AI fundamentals, ethical/responsible AI, and business-specific tool enablement.
- Build competency models and learning paths tailored to different personas (e.g., frontline employees, analysts, leaders, and technical teams).
- Collaborate with Learning & Development to integrate content into existing learning platforms and frameworks.
- Enablement Program Delivery
- Lead the creation of training materials, including e-learning modules, videos, guides, workshops, labs, and hands-on exercises.
- Oversee delivery of live and virtual training sessions in partnership with SMEs, trainers, and technology owners.
- Establish a scalable enablement model that supports global learners and ongoing refresh cycles.
- Engagement & Adoption Leadership
- Develop engagement strategies to promote awareness and excitement around data and AI capabilities.
- Build communities of practice, champion networks, and user groups to encourage peer learning and knowledge sharing.
- Partner with internal communications to create compelling campaigns, storytelling, success showcases, and awareness events.
- Support pilots, early-adopter programs, and user feedback loops to guide continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Partnership & Alignment
- Work closely with Data & Analytics, DT, HR, and business leaders to understand capability gaps and align training to organizational needs.
- Advise leaders on workforce readiness for AI-driven change and recommend upskilling approaches.
- Ensure alignment with governance, risk, and compliance teams regarding responsible AI and data use requirements.
- Measurement & Continuous Improvement
- Define KPIs and dashboards to measure training effectiveness, adoption, reach, and skill progression.
- Evaluate learner feedback, performance data, and business outcomes to continuously improve content and delivery.
- Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving skill needs to keep programs up to date.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Data/Analytics, Organizational Development, Business, or related field.
- 8–10+ years of experience in training, enablement, learning program design, digital transformation, or related roles.
- Experience building and delivering large-scale learning programs, ideally in data, analytics, digital tools, or AI.
- Strong understanding of data literacy concepts, modern analytics tools, and AI fundamentals.
- Demonstrated ability to tailor learning and communication to diverse audiences.
- Excellent facilitation, instructional design, and storytelling skills.
- Experience managing communities of practice, champion networks, or enterprise engagement programs.
- Familiarity with adult learning principles, learning technologies, and digital content development tools.
- Passion for empowering teams through knowledge and skill-building.
- Strong ability to influence without authority and collaborate across complex, global organizations.
- Ability to simplify technical concepts into accessible learning experiences.
- Creative, engaging communicator who can inspire curiosity and a growth mindset.
