The In-Line Inspection business delivers pipeline inspection services to operators of oil & gas pipelines around the globe. Reporting to the ILI Engineering Director, the Senior Engineering Manager is responsible for leading a team of technical specialists to support and enhance existing products and develop new technology and products to enhance PPS’s leading position in the global market.
Essential Responsibilities
- Research, technology, and new product development for a specific set of ILI platform, including:
- Development of long‑term, multi‑generational technology plans
- Research and technology development activities
- All new product development activities
- All aspects of performance including reporting specification and mechanical, electronic & reliability
- Managing the allocation of sustaining engineering resources to best meet business needs
Qualifications / Requirements
- Degree qualified in Engineering, Science, or relevant STEM discipline
- Deep domain knowledge of in‑line inspection technologies
- Extensive product development management experience & a track record of delivery of new product development projects
- Experience leading multi‑disciplinary technical team of scientists and engineers
- Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting at executive management level
- Excellent technical comprehension and an ability to analyze and solve problems
- Experienced in influencing and gaining solutions in a cross‑functional / matrix environment
