Shape the products that make a difference to our business

You will be responsible for activities contributing to the design and development of products, solutions and systems. Your activity will be linked to technical improvement of existing products and components. As a Lead Engineer - Electronics, you will be responsible for:

  • Engaging in Electrical and/or Electronic design of Subsea Equipment.
  • Creating and peer reviewing Functional Design Specifications, Schematics, PCB designs, Wiring Diagrams, GA drawings, BOMs and Test Specifications as per guidelines.
  • Developing new solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organizations.
  • Working together with business leadership at SPB/EB level.
  • Specifying needs, communicating about project approach and presenting outcomes of research done.
  • Leading analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods.
  • Providing support to the Manufacturing team.
  • Leading fault finding investigations on component failures and supporting EMC Testing.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have BSc or BEng from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED).
  • Have good experience in Engineering/Technology with some experience in Electronic Components.
  • Demonstrate understanding of product development lifecycles, design and document change control.
  • Have electronic simulation and analysis experience and possess excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Have experience in Power Electronics design or modem technologies, single board computers, digital interfaces, can and fieldbus communications.
