Overview
Partner with the best
To design and produce engineering drawings and parts lists for electric machinery spare parts such as generators, synchronous condensers (SC) and motors. To interrogate historical archives in order to support spare parts sales and to support Service Engineers.
Responsibilities
- Delivering engineering drawings to support aftermarket, operations, and customers.
- Supporting operations, procurement, and suppliers, with the production of the designed components, where required.
- Be fully proficient in designing using 3D CAD Inventor software.
- Supporting Service Engineers with drawings and technical advice.
- Guiding design draughtsmen in the department and sign off engineering drawings as checked work.
- Working to KPIs and objectives set by the Aftermarket Engineering Manager.

Qualifications
- Have a NC/HNC/HND in Electronic, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or similar Technical/Engineering accreditation
- Have previous experience in a design office environment – designs, bills of materials, parts would be advantageous
- Have a heavy engineering/drawing office background, having worked with engineering systems
- Have attention to detail and being thorough in your work
- Have good communication – written and verbal. With client and team. English speaking and written
- Be thorough, detail oriented and ensure quality and precision in all areas of work
Work patterns
- Monday to Thursday 0800-1630hrs (30 minutes lunch)
- Fridays 0800-1300hrs
