Warehouse & Yard Operator , you will be responsible for carrying out warehouse and yard activities safely, efficiently, and accurately.

You will support the receipt, storage, preservation, inventory control, movement, and dispatch of materials and equipment while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and operational effectiveness.

Working closely with logistics, materials, manufacturing, and service delivery teams, you will help ensure products and equipment are available when needed to support customer and business requirements.

As a Warehouse & Yard Operator, you will be responsible for

  • Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
  • Following all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participating in HSE initiatives, safety programs, and training activities.
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
  • Reviewing applicable risk assessments, permits, and procedures before commencing work.
  • Exercising Stop Work Authority when required and reporting hazards, incidents, or unsafe conditions promptly.
  • Warehouse & Yard Operations
  • Receiving, inspecting, storing, and issuing materials and equipment in accordance with established procedures.
  • Performing yard activities including loading, unloading, and movement of materials using forklifts and approved material-handling equipment.
  • Ensuring materials are properly identified, preserved, labeled, and stored.
  • Supporting on‑time delivery requirements through effective coordination with Logistics, Service Delivery, Manufacturing, and Quality teams.
  • Maintaining warehouse and yard layout standards that support efficient workflows and Lean operations.
  • Supporting additional warehouse and yard activities as required.
  • Inventory Control
  • Performing inventory transactions accurately within SAP and related business systems.
  • Conducting cycle counts and physical inventory verifications.
  • Supporting inventory accuracy and asset verification programs.
  • Investigating and reporting inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records and documentation.
  • Quality
  • Adhering to company quality standards, procedures, and operational requirements.
  • Ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Escalating issues that could impact product quality, compliance, or customer requirements.

To be successful in this role, you will

  • Hold an HNC, HND, or equivalent qualification.
  • Demonstrate basic computer literacy and familiarity with business systems.
  • Possess basic written communication and numerical skills.
  • Have experience in Warehouse, Logistics, Materials Management, Supply Chain, or Inventory Operations (preferred).
  • Be capable of safely handling and moving materials in accordance with site procedures and safety requirements.
  • Have forklift operating experience and certification, or be willing to obtain certification.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of SAP or similar inventory management systems.
  • Possess strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Be able to work effectively as part of a team while supporting operational priorities.
