The Services Senior Specialist – General Operations Support (SD Product and Equipment Specialist) coordinates resources, manages equipment readiness, and supports daily operations in complex oilfield environments.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate manpower, equipment, and resources to achieve operational goals in a timely and cost‑effective manner.
  • Lead and support daily operations, ensuring consistent and effective shift‑to‑shift transitions.
  • Develop and execute daily operational plans while supporting process and readiness frameworks.
  • Support Project Managers with strategic planning of manpower, equipment, and operational resources.
  • Implement and maintain process controls and the “ready‑to‑run” philosophy across project equipment.
  • Ensure quality control of Baker Hughes equipment loadouts prior to deployment to customer operations.
  • Liaise with Baker Hughes teams, drilling contractors, and customer rig‑site personnel to ensure suitability, compatibility, and efficiency of equipment.
  • Maintain and update internal systems related to equipment status, readiness, and operational tracking.

Qualifications

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or equivalent field experience).
  • Have relevant experience in operations support, product, or equipment‑focused roles.
  • Have a strong understanding of rig‑site operations and equipment readiness requirements.
  • Show experience coordinating resources across multiple stakeholders and functions.
  • Can work within established processes while adapting to client‑specific requirements.
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
