The Baker Hughes internship is designed to enable students pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree, or recent graduates, to gain hands-on work experience as the foundation of their professional careers. You’ll participate in focused training, team meetings, work on projects, and present your results. During your internship, you will be supported by a buddy and your manager to ensure a valuable learning experience. Coaching and mentoring will be provided to help you complete assignments and develop your skills. You will also become familiar with the Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards and the culture of Baker Hughes, as well as our strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

As an intern, you will be responsible for:

  • Completing internal projects to deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvements
  • Learning internal software to assist with projects and tasks

  • Be currently enrolled or recently graduated in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Technology, Mechanics, or other STEM or business-related fields
  • Have maintained a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale or equivalent
  • Be fluent in English, with effective communication skills
  • Have the legal right to work in the country of application without sponsorship or restrictions
