The MRP Planner is responsible for ordering, allocating, monitoring, and ensuring that material is available to meet the Production Schedule and Customer deliverables. The role will be part of our Manufacturing Planning Team. This role will oversee and manage the material availability for our manufacturing facility; identify any potential risks and mitigate any production downtime.

As a MRP Material Planner, you will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing the ERP system daily, ensuring material quantities are available to execute the project as per BOM. This includes converting ERP (Oracle ASCP) suggested requirements into purchase requisitions/manufacturing orders.
  • Supporting Production Control during the production meetings - communicating to the manufacturing team if material is available to meet the manufacturing plan or highlighting risks and leading to issue resolution.
  • Acting as an interface between the project teams and production supervisors, supporting all departments to minimize loss of time in Manufacture.
  • Coordinating the resolution of problems and maintaining the ASCP dates through regular communication with Production Control and Master Scheduler.
  • Managing data quality on the ERP system.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a High School Diploma with proven experience in Planning.
  • Have an awareness of MRP / ERP systems.
  • Have a knowledge of Engineering BOM structures.
  • Have communication, influencing, and organizational skills.
  • Have sound computer skills: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
