As a Senior Engineer – Subsea Chokes and Valves, you will be accountable for the engineering design and standardisation of subsea chokes and valves used across subsea tree and manifold systems. You will lead design verification and validation activities and establish robust product standards that enable consistent application across projects and new product introductions.

Responsibilities
  • Designing and developing subsea choke and valve systems, including specifications, datasheets, procedures and DVPs
  • Establishing and maintaining product line standards to support consistent application across projects and new product introductions
  • Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to integrate solutions that enhance product performance, reliability, and manufacturability
  • Evaluating, testing, and analysing choke and valve system performance, including developing choke sizing documentation in collaboration with Flow Assurance teams
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting for manufacturing and operational issues, working closely with on‑site manufacturing teams to drive continuous improvement
  • Owning technical solutions to reduce repeat non‑conformances and ensuring timely closure of manufacturing technical queries
  • Managing multiple engineering activities and projects concurrently, ensuring on‑time delivery and high‑quality outputs
  • Mentoring and guiding junior and remote engineers, supporting capability development and consistent technical excellence across the team

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
  • Have proven experience in design engineering roles focused on subsea chokes and valves within the energy sector
  • Have strong knowledge of subsea production systems, engineering principles, and relevant industry standards
  • Have experience using CAD tools and PLM engineering systems
  • Have the ability to manage complex technical workloads and multiple priorities effectively
  • Have excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary, team‑based environment

In this role you need to work from office 4 days a week and 1 day you can work from home.
