As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Team Leadership: Oversee front‑line manufacturing employees, across multiple departments and functions. Accountability of team and individual goals/contributions.
- Operational Management: Ensure daily operations run smoothly and consistently, managing production schedules and material flow.
- Performance Targets: Drive the team to achieve targets in quality, cost, delivery.
- Process Improvement: Utilize problem‑solving and continuous improvement tools to enhance manufacturing efficiencies and production throughput.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, Maintenance, Planning, and other functions for alignment on technical and organizational matters.
- Technical Oversight: Provide technical insight and guidance on processes, equipment, and new product applications. Train and mentor team members specifically across new product integration.
- Resource Management: Ensure efficient use of all resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Strong leadership, communication, problem‑solving, and analytical skills.
- Experience in manufacturing/production, across multiple product lines.
- Knowledge of industry safety standards.
- Lean/Six Sigma principles.
- Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent.
