We devise smarter systems to control and monitor oil and gas extraction. This role involves the successful development, deployment, and delivery of cutting‑edge control systems.
Key Responsibilities- Identification, reporting, and monitoring of SP & S Rental capex investments.
- The role is the primary owner of SP & S Rental capex projects and leads significant capex projects from receipt of equipment list through to final asset capitalization and handover to the region.
- SP & S focal point for SP & S Rental Capex reporting, monitoring, and cost verification.
- Align future capex project demand with existing assets to minimize investment requirements.
- Lead the execution of specific significant SP & S Rental Capex investments from upfront tender phase cost modelling to procurement and delivery of new assets.
- Guide and support regional capex and tooling planning activities.
- Secure detail and manage Tree and Connection tooling demand schedules.
- Produce asset utilization and capex spend metrics and reports.
- Primary contact to verify tooling availability associated with connection and tree rental assets.
- Monitor SP & S project wins and align capex requirements.
- Lead cost‑out improvement initiatives within the Rental COE.
- Collaborate with SP & S manufacturing test equipment teams to optimize asset usage.
- Have a Bachelor or Master’s degree or relevant experience.
- Have experience working within planning, ideally in the oil and gas/subsea industry or a related large‑scale mechanical manufacturing or controls equipment environment.
- Have additional knowledge of Oracle MRP.
- Ability to understand the status of a project and link the schedule to reality of execution.
- Ability to quickly understand risks and opportunities in the schedule and identify appropriate actions.
- Strong expertise in planning a large project and using Primavera P6 – an added advantage.
- High energy and motivation to deliver, making a difference in the position.
- Strong leadership and excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with planners and interact with a panel of individuals contributing to the project’s performance.
