Our Legal team takes responsibility for supporting the execution of our company's global business and safeguarding its people, assets and interests. We provide critical legal support across the business, working closely with the business teams and the Legal department's functions.
As a Commercial Legal Counsel, you will provide commercial legal advice and support to the IET Segment, which comprises supporting different product lines within the Europe Region. You will be responsible for:
- Providing legal support for customer contracts and activities
- Providing legal advice to the business on strategic initiatives, partnerships and various growth and business initiatives
- Delivering training and advice to support legal and compliance teams
- Having oversight on commercial activities of IET in Europe, including supporting development of tools and templates to support business growth and driving Commercial Legal initiatives
To be successful in this role you will:
- Possess a law degree from an accredited university or law school
- Have been admitted to a European Bar
- Have impressive knowledge and experience negotiating complex commercial contracts and transactions
- Be able to demonstrate deep project management skills and process improvement skills
- Be able to demonstrate leadership in interacting with cross-functional teams and providing strategic legal and compliance guidance to leadership
- Be a natural communicator, with an ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Be a motivated self-starter, proactively taking the initiative to lead and solve problems
- Show significant experience in a similar role providing legal counsel with experience in a similar role in-house or at a law firm
